Principal illegally installed cell phone jammer equipment

Many educators struggle to understand how to use electronic devices in the classroom. Some students have been educated about the adverse effects and encouraged them to regulate their use. Others even emphasized the possible applications of mobile devices in the classroom. Well, many people just try to ban everything. A principal in British Columbia raised the school’s ban to a new level by creating a mobile phone portable jammer . There is only one problem-the device is illegal in Canada. The principal had already ordered a mobile jammer device online, but soon some angry students discovered and informed him that he was breaking the law.

It seems to be related to the mobile phone ban, but to maintain the authority of the school. In that respect... everything turned around. Many schools effectively prohibit the use of mobile phones without technical restrictions (I have attended such a high school). The principal should probably explain to students and teachers why mobile phones are a problem, and develop reasonable usage guidelines and reasonable consequences for policy violations. Establishing the authority of the principal and earning the respect of his students may be much better than installing illegal jammers and being forced to never look back.
